Closed Meeting Investigator
The Township of Douro-Dummer may hold a municipal or local board meeting that is closed to the public as outlined in the Municipal Act.
File a complaint
You can fill out a closed meeting complaint form if you have concerns about a closed meeting held by the Township or a local board.
Role of Closed Meeting Investigator
Our Closed Meeting Investigator is the Ontario Ombudsman who acts as our citizen’s representative. The role of the Closed Meeting Investigator is to take public complaints about our closed meetings from the public. It is their job to keep the identity of the complainant confidential during a closed meeting.
