The Township of Douro-Dummer holds a municipal election every four years to elect the Mayor and Council as well as school board trustees. The next municipal election will be held Monday, October 26, 2026.

Avoid additional paperwork by registering on our Voters' List.

You can register up to and on the date of the Election.

While you can be added to the Voter's List at the Municipal Office on the date of election, this may create delays and a longer waiting time. Make sure you give yourself enough time to both register and cast your vote.

Financial statements and auditor reports

The Elections Act requires candidates to file financial statements. If a candidate's contributions and expenses exceed $10,000, they must have their financial statements audited and submit the auditor report. In both 2014 and 2018 no candidate exceeded $10,000 in contributions and expenses.

Please contact Martina Chait-Hartwig, Acting Clerk, if you would like to review the financial statements and auditor reports for any candidate in the 2014 or 2018 municipal election in a different format.
