Reopening Ontario: Ontario has moved to Step 3 of the Roadmap to Ontario on July 16, 2021 .

Booking a COVID-19 Vaccine Appointment: Please note that the Municipality does not book appointments. For details about the current status of the COVID-19 Vaccine within Peterborough County including up to date information on available vaccination clinics please view the Peterborough Public Health Vaccine Information website.

 Office Status 

Douro-Dummer Municipal Office - Our office is open to the public with limited access during regular business hours (Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.). Use the intercom on the outside of the main entrance and staff will provide you with instructions on how to enter. A mask is mandatory. Social distancing must be exercised.  Parks and Recreation

Under Step 3 of the ‘Roadmap to Reopening,’ Indoor and Outdoor recreational activities are now available. All renters/organizations must comply with all Provincial COVID Reopening requirements.

Outdoor sports activities (no personal contact is allowed. Sports or games must be modified to ensure no contact), fitness classes and personal training up to maximum of 75% capacity of the rental space.

Team sports may be practiced or played at the outdoor amenity, with the requirement of having less than 75% of the facility capacity and 5 or less spectators per participants – if physical distancing of at least 2 metres is possible to maintain.

Indoor sports activities (no personal contact is allowed with sports or games to be modified to ensure no contact), fitness classes and personal training up to maximum of 50% capacity of the rental space.

Team sports may be practiced or played at the indoor amenity, with the requirement of having less than 50% of the facility capacity and 50% capacity in all spectator areas. Indoor spectator sections will have signs posting the 50% capacity limit for each area.

Masks or face coverings are highly recommended on paths leading to parking lots, fields, and other park amenities.

All renters/organizations will be required to submit Covid Safety Plans prior to their event 

Hand sanitization upon accessing the outdoor facility is highly recommended.
