The Douro-Dummer Public Library is seeking applications from qualified students for the position of Summer Program Assistant . Under the guidance of the Library CEO, the Summer Program Assistant will develop and deliver summer programming to community members of all ages, as well as have the opportunity to assist in all areas of public library service delivery.

The position is part-time (up to 20 hours per week) for a contract of 9 – 12 weeks, may include one evening or Saturday shift per week, and pays $15.50 per hour.

Applicants must:

• Be eligible to work in Canada
• Be enrolled in a secondary or post-secondary institution, or within 6 months of graduation, and be at least 15 years of age
• Be a resident of Ontario
