Property Taxes
There are a variety of ways to pay your property taxes in the Township of Douro-Dummer. Review the payment options and select one that works for you. We must receive your payment by the due date in order to avoid late penalties.
Property taxes are due on the following dates:
- February 28
- April 30
- June 30
- September 30
Electronic Tax Bill Enrolment
If you would like to receive your tax bill via email (instead of through the postal service) please sign-up by completing the Electronic Tax Bill Enrolment form below.
If you use the Halls Glen Transfer Station (HGTS) card that accompanies the interim tax bill, you can still collect it at the Township Office after the paper copies of the interim tax bills have been mailed in early February.
Online payments
If you select this option, you'll pay using your credit card. Please note that there is a 2.5% processing fee for online payments.
Set up pre-authorized payments
Never miss a property tax due date by setting up a pre-authorized payment plan.
Please complete the Pre-Authorized Payment Application form and submit it by email or to the Township Office located at 894 South Street, Warsaw.
You can select one of the following payment options:
- Monthly plan – equal payment installments are withdrawn on the 15 day each month for 11 months
- Due date plan – payments are withdrawn on the property tax due date
Pay through your bank or financial institution
You can pay with electronic or telephone banking through your financial institution. To pay online, you'll need to:
- Log in to your online banking
- Add “Douro” as the payee
- Enter the roll number (account number found on your property tax bill)
In person payments
You can pay in person at that Township Office located at 894 South Street, Warsaw. We accept payments by debit, cash, or cheque.
If you are dropping a cheque off after hours, please place your cheque in an envelope which is clearly marked with the purpose of the cheque and place it in the drop box located outside the Township Office.
