Building and Planning

The Building & Planning Department provides advisory and regulatory services for land use, enforces the Ontario Building Code, and oversees certain Township By-laws. It operates as a unified department to streamline development approvals, covering everything from initial contact to planning and building approvals, completion, and occupancy.

The department reviews and administers planning and building applications, responds to zoning inquiries, and provides written responses for property ownership transfers and mortgage purposes. It consists of two specialized branches, each handling specific responsibilities.
