Not sure if you’re on the Voter’s List for the upcoming 2026 Municipal Election?

Don’t worry! There’s still lots of time to add yourself or update your information on the Voters List through the Township Office.  

Give the Douro-Dummer Election Team a call at 705-652-8392, email elections@dourodummer.ca or visit the office to ensure that you will be able to cast a ballot. 

Please note that Register to Vote Ontario portal, is no longer accepting online registration requests for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Elections.

Please contact your local municipality to ensure that you are on the 2026 Municipal Voter's List. 

Douro-Dummer Building, Planning & Economic Development Service Review

Triton Engineering  is helping the Township review its Building and Planning Services to operate more efficiently and evaluate whether an Economic Development service might support community growth.

This project started on January 9th, 2026 and will be finished in four stages by June 30th, 2026.

Final Report

Feedback on Final Report will be Accepted until August 21, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.

Beginning in January 2026, Triton Engineering was hired to review the Township's Building and Planning Services and make recommendations regarding customer service and possible efficiencies. The review would also evaluate whether the addition of economic development services might be needed in the Township.

A draft of the Final Report was presented at the Committee of the Whole meeting held on June 17, 2026.

Feedback received on the draft Final Report was included in the Final Service Delivery Report presented at the Regular Council Meeting held on August 4, 2026.

Council will be accepting additional feedback regarding the Final Report until August 21, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. Please submit feedback via the Online Form. 

A report regarding any feedback received will be presented to Council at the Regular Council Meeting to be held on September 8, 2026.
