Flood Watch Issued

A Flood Watch is being issues for local watercourses within the jurisdiction of Otonabee Conservation, excluding the Trent-Severn Waterway.

A Flood Watch is in effect across the region as forecasted warm temperatures and rainfall over the coming week, combined with an above-average snowpack, are expected to produce substantial runoff. This may lead to rapidly rising water levels and flows in local watercourses, increasing the potential for flooding.

Douro-Dummer Building, Planning & Economic Development Service Review

Triton Engineering  is helping the Township review its Building and Planning Services to operate more efficiently and evaluate whether an Economic Development service might support community growth.

This project started on January 9th, 2026 and will be finished in four stages by June 30th, 2026.

Service Review Stages

Stage 1 Background: Collect Information, Prepare Information Report by mid-March

Stage 2 Open House: Interviews, Questionnaire Presentation by mid-April

Stage 3 Analysis: Risk Assessment, Performance Measures by mid-May

Stage 4 Reporting: Draft Report, Public Meeting, Final Presentation Approval by June 30, 2026
