Registering to Vote
Who can vote?
You can vote if you are:
- Canadian Citizen; and
- At least 18 years old; and
- A resident of Douro-Dummer; or
- A non-resident of Douro-Dummer, but you or your spouse own or rent property in the municipality; and
- Are not prohibited from voting under any law.

Being on the Voters’ List helps ensure you receive the correct voting information and can vote without delay.
To vote in the 2026 Municipal Election, your name must be on the Voters’ List.

Please note that the online Register to Vote Ontario Portal, is no longer accepting online registration requests for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Elections.
Voting Period — October 13, 2026 to October 26, 2026
Internet or Telephone Voting:
- 24 hours a day from Friday, October 13 at 10:00 a.m. to Monday October 26, 2026, at 8:00 p.m.

Vote In-Person at Municipal Service Centres:
- Election Day (October 26): Between 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
