Road Construction Notice | County Road 8 from Douro Fourth Line Road east for 100m
The County of Peterborough will be carrying out asphalt paving on County Road 8, approximately 100 metres east of Douro Fourth Line Road. Construction is set to commence at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 4 and is anticipated to conclude by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5.
Single-lane traffic restrictions will be in effect and will be managed by flag personnel. Motorists can expect delays and are advised to plan their route accordingly.
The County of Peterborough thanks residents and motorists for their patience and cooperation during this construction period.

A public meeting will be held as part of the Regular Council Meeting on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. regarding the 2026 Draft Budget. An overview of the budget and the proposed tax rate will be presented and then the floor will be open for public comments and questions.
Township of Douro-Dummer Council would like to welcome all community members to the Town Hall for a Coffee and Conversation Community Engagement Event on October 23, 2025, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
During the June 17th, 2025, Council Meeting, Township Council approved the 2026 budget schedule as proposed by staff.
The Township of Douro-Dummer has been working on its budget for 2025. Draft departmental budgets were presented to Council on January 7th and 9th, 2025 and a Council working session is to be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. All materials are available on the Township website for public viewing.
