Missed Garbage Collection
Pick-up moved to Tuesday August 18, 2026
Due to a staffing issues, curbside garbage collection that was scheduled for Monday, August 18, 2026, was unable to be completed.
The missed garbage will be collected on Tuesday, August 18, 2026. Residents on the affected roads are asked to leave their garbage at the curb until it has been collected.

Lakelands Public Health is urging residents of Haliburton, Kawartha, Peterborough and Northumberland to take precautions to protect against heat- and air quality-related illnesses.
