NEW for 2026: Three (3) ways to vote in the Municipal Council and School Board Election.

You can vote online or by phone starting on Tuesday October 13 at 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 26. Paper ballot voting will be available on Monday, October 26 from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Township Office.

Voter Information Letters (VILs) for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Election have been mailed and are making their way to voters. 

Voter Help Centres will also be open throughout the election period. 

Please be advised that the Township of Douro-Dummer Regular Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. has been cancelled. 

The Township of Douro-Dummer has finalized its 2025 Audit and Consolidated Financial Statements. The audit was conducted by the Township's independent auditing firm, Baker Tilly.

With the 2026 Municipal Council and School Board Election quickly approaching, the Township is sharing resources to help voters cast their ballots during the voting period.

The Township of Douro-Dummer has posted its official 2026 Notice of Election Information, including the candidates for Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Members of Council and School Board Trustee positions. The notice also outlines voter eligibility and Voter Help Desk hours.

Applications are now open for the Rural Ontario Development (ROD) Business Development Stream.

Rural Ontario businesses with 20 employees or less are eligible to apply for up to 35% of eligible costs, up to a maximum of ten-thousand dollars ($10,000.00) in funding. Apply by October 1, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.!
