2026 Budget Schedule

Douro-Dummer, ON – July 7, 2025 – During the June 17^th, 2025, Council Meeting, Township Council approved the 2026 Budget Schedule.

The approved schedule will take place from July to December 2025 and will lead to a completed budget by early January 2026.

The 2026 budget schedule will allow department managers to have a clear direction for their teams at the start of the coming fiscal year.

Budget presentations:

• October 14, 10:00 a.m. – First draft – Presentation of first draft to Council.
• October 21, 5:00 p.m. – Public meeting – The Treasurer will present the budget draft. The Public will be able to provide feedback during this time.
• November 18, 5:00 p.m. – Second draft – Council will deliberate and considering the public feedback provided during the public meeting.
• December 16, 5:00 p.m. – Final budget and budget approval – Staff will prepare the final budget documents for January.

All meetings regarding the 2026 Budget Schedule are open to the Public.

Public feedback about the budget will only be taken during the October 21, 2025, Public Meeting.
