Winter Parking
Parking on Township roads is prohibited during the winter season (October 1 – April 30). This regulation is in place to allow for safe and efficient snow removal and winter road maintenance.

Snow Removal
It is a violation under the Highway Traffic Act, to plow, shovel, blow, or place snow on or across public roadways. Putting snow on roadways creates unsafe conditions for motorists.

Clean Up Peterborough is Hosting their Inaugural Circular Economy Event - October 29, 2025

Peterborough County residents are welcome to to help divert items from going to landfills and transfer stations by participating in Clean Up Peterborough's first ever "RE:Connect" Circular Economy event.

Clean Up Peterborough has partnered with over 25 local organizations to create an event that provides an outlet for hard-to-recycle items, and other household waste to be reused by Peterborough County businesses and community groups.

This event will feature the reuse and repair program, up-cyclers, sustainable businesses, vintage resellers, and program demonstrations.
