Flood Watch Issued

A Flood Watch is being issues for local watercourses within the jurisdiction of Otonabee Conservation, excluding the Trent-Severn Waterway.

A Flood Watch is in effect across the region as forecasted warm temperatures and rainfall over the coming week, combined with an above-average snowpack, are expected to produce substantial runoff. This may lead to rapidly rising water levels and flows in local watercourses, increasing the potential for flooding.

Don’t miss a unique opportunity to attend Beginner Improv Class FOR FREE! Local to Peterborough, Rapid’s End Improv is a community of comedians, including former and current Second City stars, who specialize in improv and comedy. Classes will run Wednesday evenings beginning April 1st. 

The Friends of the Library are hosting their monthly Speaker Series on April 18th - come learn about local gardening from Indian River Acres. 

April is National Poetry Month! Don’t miss our Poetry Chapbook Workshop on April 28th.
