Township of Douro-Dummer Invites Community Input on New Asset Management Plan

The Township of Douro-Dummer is seeking community input to help shape priorities for its Asset Management Plan (AMP).

Led by PSD Citywide Inc., the AMP will guide how the Township invests in and maintains essential infrastructure including roads, parks, and recreation facilities to ensure services remain safe, reliable, and affordable.

Community feedback will help Council make informed decisions about future investments, balancing service levels, risks, and costs while planning for long-term sustainability.

Garbage Collection Update - Monday, February 23 2026

Due to poor road conditions on Monday, February 23 2026, service was impacted on some Township roads Township. 

As a result, the following roads were not serviced:

  • Chipmunk Road
  • Duck Pond Lane
  • Julia Shore Road East & West 
  • Julias Creek Road West
  • Lakeside Road
  • Little Chipmunk Road
  • Little Duck Pond Lane
  • Miles Road
  • Miles Shore Road East & West
  • Puffers Road
  • South Bay Road
  • South Bayshore Road West
  • Tedford Lane
  • Whetung Road

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank residents for their patience and understanding.

Double collection will be provided next week to accommodate the missed service.
