NOTICE: Half-Load Restrictions in Effect - March 1, 2026

The Township of Douro-Dummer will implement half-load restrictions effective Sunday, March 1, 2026.

Each year during the spring thaw, reduced load limits are enforced in accordance with the Highway Traffic Act to protect municipal roads when they are most susceptible to damage from heavy vehicles.

Please note the following during this period:

• A maximum load limit of 5 tonnes per axle applies.
• Truck and commercial vehicle access may be limited on designated roads.

Restrictions will remain in place until Thursday, April 30, 2026, unless otherwise advised.
