Road Construction Notice | County Road 8 from Douro Fourth Line Road east for 100m

The County of Peterborough will be carrying out asphalt paving on County Road 8, approximately 100 metres east of Douro Fourth Line Road. Construction is set to commence at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 4 and is anticipated to conclude by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5.

Single-lane traffic restrictions will be in effect and will be managed by flag personnel. Motorists can expect delays and are advised to plan their route accordingly.

The County of Peterborough thanks residents and motorists for their patience and cooperation during this construction period.

RFP ADM-2025-03 Service Delivery Review for Building & Planning Departments

The Township of Douro-Dummer invites qualified proponents to participate in a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a comprehensive Service Delivery Review (SDR). This initiative aims to evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of our Building & By-law and Planning & Economic Development departments.

The purpose of the SDR is to quantify and improve the understanding of the Building, By-law, Planning and Economic Development Services currently provided by the Township, and to provide comprehensive information that will allow the community, Council and staff to make informed strategic decisions regarding those services.
