Register to Vote for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Elections

The Municipal and School Board Elections will take place on October 26, 2026

Use Elections Ontario’s Voter Registration Service to confirm, update, add or remove your voter information for provincial and municipal elections, including School Board elections. 

The Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) remains responsible for collecting information about school support. To update your school support information, visit MPAC’s online School Support tool.

2026 Garbage to Garden Program

Peterborough County's 2026 Garbage to Garden Program is back!

This program provides Peterborough County residents with an easy and effective way to reduce household waste and divert organic materials from landfill.

Simply submit an application for a composter or digester, and Peterborough County's Waste Management team will contact you to confirm your request and schedule an installation date.

Delivery, installation, and hands-on training are all included, ensuring you have the knowledge and tools needed to successfully compost at home and turn kitchen and yard waste into a valuable resource for your garden.
