Missed Garbage Collection

Pick-up moved to Tuesday July 28, 2026

Due to a staffing issue, curbside garbage collection for Monday July 27, 2026, was missed on several roads in the Township and will be collected on Tuesday July 28, 2026. 

Residents on the affected roads are asked to leave their garbage at the curb until it has been collected.

The Municipal and School Board Elections will take place on October 26, 2026

Use Elections Ontario’s Voter Registration Service to confirm, update, add or remove your voter information for provincial and municipal elections, including School Board elections. 

The Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) remains responsible for collecting information about school support. To update your school support information, visit MPAC’s online School Support tool.

Civic Holiday Office Closure — Monday August 3, 2026

Please be advised that the Township Office will be closed on Monday, August 3, 2026 for the Civic Holiday.

All office services will resume on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at 8:30 a.m.

We wish you all a happy and safe Civic Holiday! 

Curbside Waste Collection - No changes to collection schedule.

  • Monday, August 3, 2026 (Civic Holiday) - No change to collection schedule.

Curbside Recycling Collection - No changes to collection schedule.

  • Monday, August 3, 2026 (Civic Holiday) - No change to collection schedule.

Hall's Glen Transfer Station - No changes to transfer station hours. 

  • Monday, August 3, 2026 (Civic Holiday) - No change to transfer station hours.

Hall's Glen Summer Hours - May 1 to October 31:

  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday – 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Sunday – 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday and Thursday – closed

For Public Works emergencies (such as washouts, flooding, trees across the road, etc.) please call the 24-hour Public Works emergency line 705-926-0214.
