The Municipal and School Board Elections will take place on October 26, 2026

Use Elections Ontario’s Voter Registration Service to confirm, update, add or remove your voter information for provincial and municipal elections, including School Board elections. 

The Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) remains responsible for collecting information about school support. To update your school support information, visit MPAC’s online School Support tool.

Lakefield Transportation Master Plan - Public Information Centre May 27, 2026

Peterborough County (County) is undertaking a Transportation Master Plan (TMP) Study for the Lakefield Area Road Network. This study will assess transportation infrastructure needs and deficiencies and identify the infrastructure improvements required to accommodate growth in the community of Lakefield.

As part of this study, the County is will be hosting another Public Information Centre (PIC) to present and gather feedback on the findings of technical and environmental reviews, recommended road network improvements, evaluation of alternative Otonabee River crossing alignments, conceptual design of a second crossing, and next steps in the study process. Members of the study team will be present to discuss the study with you and answer any questions you may have.

  • Location: Lakefield-Smith Community Centre, 20 Concession Street, Lakefield
  • Time: 4:30 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. (Drop In only)
