Water Tanker Shuttle Training — Wednesday May 20, 2026 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Douro-Dummer Fire and Emergency Services will be conducting Water Tanker Shuttle training this Wednesday, May 20, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Fire trucks will be travelling from the fill location at the Warsaw Dam to the dump location at North of Oke Road. 

There will be no road closures, but there may be traffic delays at the fill and dump locations. Travelers are encouraged to use alternative routes during the training. Members of Douro-Dummer Fire and Emergency Services will be present to direct traffic. 

Fire hydrants are not normally available in rural communities leading to the use of Water Tank Shuttles to transport water to fires from other locations such as dry hydrants, reservoirs and lakes.
