Interested in running for council during the 2026 Municipal Election? The Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) is hosting a free online workshop series for leaders seeking re-election or first-time aspiring candidates.

This program is designed to help you reconnect with your purpose, manage conflict, prioritize mental health, and turn values into action.

A public meeting will be held as part of the Regular Council Meeting on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. regarding the 2026 Draft Budget. An overview of the budget and the proposed tax rate will be presented and then the floor will be open for public comments and questions.

Township of Douro-Dummer Council would like to welcome all community members to the Town Hall for a Coffee and Conversation Community Engagement Event on October 23, 2025, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The Council of the Township of Douro-Dummer held a regular Council meeting on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. Due to technical difficulties at the meeting, a livestream of the meeting was not possible. The recording of the meeting has been uploaded to the Township's YouTube Channel.

At the Regular Meeting of Council held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, Council made a decision to cancel the Regular Meeting of Council, originally scheduled for Tuesday, April 1, 2025. The meeting has been canceled due to conflicts which will result in a lack of members to reach quorum.
