All office services will resume on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at 8:30 a.m.

Curbside Waste Collection - Collection moves forward one day
- Wednesday, July 1, 2026 (Canada Day) - Collection will move to Thursday July 2, 2026
- Thursday July 2, 2026 - Collection will move to Friday July 3, 2026
- Friday July 3, 2026 - Collection will move to Saturday July 4, 2026

Hall's Glen Transfer Station
- Wednesday, July 1, 2026 (Canada Day) - The Transfer Station will be closed on Canada Day
Hall's Glen Summer Hours - May 1 to October 31:
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday – 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Sunday – 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Tuesday and Thursday – closed

For Public Works emergencies (such as washouts, flooding, trees across the road, etc.) please call the 24-hour Public Works emergency line 705-926-0214.
If you have a life and property threatening emergency, please call 911.
Burn Permits
All open-air fires in the Township of Douro-Dummer require a burn permit.
Burn permits are $15.00 and are valid until December 2026.
To obtain or renew your burn permit:
- Apply online through the burn permit webpage
- Visit the Township Office (located at 894 South Street, Warsaw ON, K0L 3A0).

Event Details:
Date: Wednesday July 1, 2026
Floats Formation Time: 2:00 p.m.
Parade Start Time: 2:30 p.m.
Post-Parade Celebration: Enjoy free ice-cream, cake, and refreshments provided by the Township of Douro-Dummer, or buy Freezies to support St. Joseph’s Catholic Elementary School.
Parade Route: The parade route will begin on Douro Fourth Line Road and travel south, ending in Douro at County Road 8.
