Register to Vote for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Elections
Are you on the Voter's List?
The Municipal and School Board Elections will take place on October 26, 2026
Use Elections Ontario’s Voter Registration Service to confirm, update, add or remove your voter information for provincial and municipal elections, including School Board elections.
The Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) remains responsible for collecting information about school support. To update your school support information, visit MPAC’s online School Support tool.

To assist affected residents with missed garbage collection, the Township will accept up to three (3) bags of household garbage per household at the Halls Glen Transfer Station free of charge on the following dates and times:
Please bring your Transfer Station card to confirm residency.
Due to weather conditions, curbside waste collection on Monday January 5, 2026 has been delayed on several roads in the Township.
If your waste is not collected by 5:00 p.m. on Monday January 5, 2026, please bring your garbage inside and expect a triple collection next week.
The Township Office will be closed starting at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, and will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, January 2, 2026.

Due to current weather conditions, including unplowed roads and icy surfaces, Waste Connections is experiencing difficulty with waste collection today. For the safety of both the drivers and the public, collection will be limited to main roads only.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, curbside waste collection on Tuesday December 9, 2025 has been delayed on several roads in the Township and will be collected on Wednesday December, 10, 2025. Garbage trucks will be dispatched at 7:00 a.m.
On Wednesday October 29, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Clean Up Peterborough will be hosting Peterborough’s inaugural circular economy event.
This event will allow residents from across Peterborough County to bring items, some of which are not accepted at the Hall's Glen Transfer Station, for re-use. See the full article to see what products can be brought to the event, and how items will be repurposed.
