The Council of the Township of Douro-Dummer held a regular Council meeting on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. Due to technical difficulties during the meeting, a livestream of the meeting was not possible. The recordings of the meeting have now been uploaded to the Township's YouTube Channel. 

Take Notice that the Corporation of the County of Peterborough has prepared modifications to the new Official Plan, which was adopted by County Council in June 2022. The County is hosting an electronic Public Open House and a hybrid Public Meeting to consider proposed modifications to the Plan in accordance with Section 17 of The Planning Act.

Take Notice that the Council of The Corporation of the Township of Douro-Dummer has received a complete application for Zoning By-law Amendment and will hold a public meeting to consider the proposed amendment to the Township of Douro-Dummer Comprehensive Zoning By-law under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O., 1990.

The Township of Douro-Dummer has been working on its budget for 2025. Draft departmental budgets were presented to Council on January 7th and 9th, 2025 and a Council working session is to be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. All materials are available on the Township website for public viewing.

Take Notice that the Council of the Township of Douro-Dummer will hold a public meeting of the Committee of Adjustment to consider a proposed minor variance under Section 45 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, as amended.
