Peterborough County (County) is undertaking a Transportation Master Plan (TMP) Study for the Lakefield Area Road Network.

As part of this study, the County is will be hosting another Public Information Centre (PIC) from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 on Wednesday May 27, 2026, to present and gather feedback on the findings of the study. 

The Township of Douro-Dummer is pleased to announce that starting on May 15, 2026, free compost will be available to Township of Douro-Dummer residents and ratepayers.  

The Township of Douro-Dummer is currently seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our Public Works as a full-time Equipment Operators (2 positions).

The Township of Douro-Dummer advises that all reduced load restrictions on township roads will be lifted for the season effective May 1, 2026.

The Township of Douro-Dummer is currently seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our Recreation Facilities as a full-time Parks & Recreation Operator.
