The Township of Douro-Dummer is excited to announce the 2025 Holiday Public Skating schedule! Bring your family and friends for some fun on the ice this holiday season. 

Due to current weather conditions, including unplowed roads and icy surfaces, Waste Connections is experiencing difficulty with waste collection today. For the safety of both the drivers and the public, collection will be limited to main roads only.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, curbside waste collection on Tuesday December 9, 2025 has been delayed on several roads in the Township and will be collected on Wednesday December, 10, 2025. Garbage trucks will be dispatched at 7:00 a.m. 

Due to unforeseen circumstances, curbside waste collection on Monday December 8 has been missed on several Township roads and will be collected on Tuesday December, 9, 2025.

Council has received a request to stop-up, close and sell a portion of unopened road allowance between Concession 11 Part of Lot 1 and Concession 12 Part of Lots 1 and 2 in the Dummer Ward and sell it to the adjacent landowner.
