Development Charges

What are Development Charges?

A Development Charge is a fee that the Township collects at the time a building permit application is completed. These fees are to help pay for the cost of infrastructure and services to new development in the Township. This includes facilities and community centres, emergency services, roads and sewer infrastructure.

Please note the development fees displayed are for the year 2021. In accordance to By-Law 2019 - 40, these amounts are subject to change each calendar year. To get a copy of previous years charges, please contact staff.
