Minor Variances

If your development or planning proposal does not align with the regulations outline in the Zoning By-law, you may need to apply for a Minor Variance. A Minor Variance is only applicable if the change to the Zoning By-law is considered minor.

Before you start

You need to book a pre-consultation meeting before you can submit an application for a Minor Variance. We will review the proposed project and let you know if there are any studies that you need to consider with your application.
