Road Maintenance
The Township of Douro-Dummer is responsible for the maintenance of more than 270 km of road. We also provide year-round maintenance of regulatory, warning and 911 signs throughout the community.

Summer road maintenance
During the spring and summer months, we provide the following maintenance activities on Township roads:
- Dust suppression on gravel roads
- Grading
- Culvert maintenance and installations
- Re-surfacing
- Pothole filling
We also provide roadside maintenance, such as:
- Grass-cutting
- Brushing
- Ditching
Winter road maintenance
During the winter months, we provide snow and ice removal for all Municipal roads.
